Mapping Out the Casino Roulette Rules that Lower the House Advantage

Once the second spin falls again to the number zero the player completely loses their bet.

Another roulette rule is the 'la partage" which is similar to the "en prison" rule only the player is not given the option not to leave their bet for another spin play. Both rules can bring the house advantage in roulette down to half its usual percentage which is reflected as 1.35% for the French roulette and down to 2.63% in the American roulette.

Playing the French roulette version can provide a roulette player better odds of winning with only 37 numbers to play for that gives a relatively lower house advantage to its players than the American version.

Moreover, the presence of both roulette rules mentioned above can significantly further lower down the house advantage in roulette. Many find it more advantageous to play at casinos that honor the "en prison" and "la partage" rules on their gambling establishment where the players can play against a lower house edge from the game of roulette.
